I visited http://demo.mt.lv where testing miktotik 2.8.9 router is
established. I noticed this testing router has level 2 license, but as far
as I know, MT dont provide customers with that type of license for new 2.8.x
versions ( found level 0, level 1 & level 3-6 in documentation).
So, what is level 2 license? Anybody knows? I'm just curious.

A level 2 license is a generic v2.8 license used when upgrading your
RouterOS from a version lower than v2.8 to v2.8...The reason being the
old license were not compatible with the new license scheme in v2.8

Tnx for the tip Rynier.

So, just to get straight here - if I have 'paid' 2.7.x version and upgrade it
to 2.8.x, what features my upgraded router has?

You will have all the features you had before the upgrade. Just that the
license would have changed to the v2.8 Level 2...
